As I approached the Beverly Hills city limit today, the dog you see approaching here had to be vigorously restrained by it's owner. It was growling and drooling and pulling hard on its leash. It wanted my ankles for lunch like there was no tomorrow.
I saw this book in a basket by the side of the road on Fountain Avenue by Fairfax.

what a book to find in a basket

The dog in the picture is my nine year-old Schipperke Davis. I'm sorry Davis frightened you, but the Schipperke is a guard dog completely devoted to its master and suspicious of all strangers. We live in West Hollywood but walk in Beverly Hills every day. Hope you enjoyed your walk and maybe came in contact with some of our friendlier dogs in the neighborhood like Treasure, Yukon, Scruffy, Apollo or Butch.

Hey JT
So awesome and so funny.
No offense intended to Davis either. Thanks for posting.
It's funny how we crossed each other (anonymously) in real space and collided again in the virtual as people who have interacted before. Pretty cool.
Cheers,
Lisa

JT and Davis are good friends of mine. Davis has always been quite friendly to me; that is, after I let him go through his charade of trying to protect his master. It's all just for show. I don't even think he likes JT that much!
