Hello, ive lived in LA since 1960 and i read about you today in the LA times and i loved it!!!
I respect you greatly and i wish you well.
Your story made me think fondly of a lady who used to be known as the peace pilgrim, im sure you know of her... LA can be easily percieved as as the place without purpose for me that its refreshing and hopeful to see someone with a meaningful purpose like yourself....
i wish you well, peace....
here is a little something from your sister the "peace pilgrim"

From 1953 to 1981 a silver haired woman calling herself only "Peace Pilgrim" walked more than 25,000 miles on a personal pilgrimage for peace. She vowed to "remain a wanderer until mankind has learned the way of peace, walking until given shelter and fasting until given food."

I find what you're doing very fascinating. Your site is perhaps the most engaging video blog I've ever seen.

Keep it up!

Do you have any sister sites? That is, are there any people doing this in other cities?

You should be added to this list of 150 things we can do to build social capital!

most interesting adventure & reminds of how huell howser got his start on ch 28 by visiting & interviewing people in various neighborhoods.

think that is/was the name of the show, "Visiting..." perhaps he'll find out about what you're doing & you'll be on his show.
